A Merry Little Christmas!

An early Christmas present!

We were pleasantly surprised with an early Christmas present. We are very excited! Our families already know, so I figure it's safe to spill the beans now. So...bring on the morning sickness, heartburn, frequent trips to the bathroom, aches and pains, tiredness, etc....Oh wait, it's already started. Lucky me! Melina doesn't quite get it, but she points to my tummy when asked "Where's mommy's baby?" And then she says "Lina baby?" while pointing at her own tummy. Too cute. Check out our new tracker on the side bar to keep track of how far along I am.

Ramdon Bits

Mmm...Christmas goodies. These are some plates we are giving some of our neighbors. I made Christmas tree press cookies, peanut butter/chocolate balls, and English toffee. Don't you wish you were one of our neighbors?:)

Melina decided to put her head up my skirt. Don't ask me why. Maybe she was hiding? Just being silly?

Russ got some balloons from work the day before the big BYU-Utah football game (don't ask) and the football balloon migrated to the top of our stair well. It has been there ever since. Well...it did move to the hallway once, but then moved right back. Who knows when and if it will ever come down.

This moose is the object of Roxy's terror. It sings Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer and moves its mouth. Roxy (the dog) is absolutely terrified of it. She runs out of the room every time we turn it on. She is getting better though. She used to not even go in the room with it in there. Melina, however, loves it. She knows how to turn it on and likes to dance to it. I had to laugh when Melina put one of her Little People toys in its mouth. HeHe

Dolls do NOT go in the toilet!

I know, I know...the picture is a little morbid. But I had to hang them to dry after having to wash them. I've been really busy with work this past week and I was working on something when Melina decided to go upstairs to play. I found her playing in the bathroom. There was about a rolls worth of toilet paper on the floor and when I preceded to pick it up, Melina opened the toilet seat lid to show me her babies...IN THE TOILET! Ahhhh! And of course when I was trying to clean up that mess, she had to get into something else and emptied out my night stand drawers. I think I need to change her title from 'our little princess' to 'our little troublemaker'.

Who, me?
Nah...I'm a little angel.

On another note: Here are some pics of our Christmas decorations.

A Great Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving. We were able to spend time with family, which is what the holiday is all about. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with Russ' family and then went and visited with my family. We also got to enjoy yummy pie at both places. And then I was bad and had a third piece of pie at home. Shh...don't tell anybody. I have to be good now...until Christmas:)

Well, the holiday season is upon us and with it brings a time of reflection. We are truly blessed and have many things to be grateful for. For one, a precious little girl that we love so much. Here are some pics of Melina playing at Grandma's.
