Happy Easter!

It is hard to believe that a year has passed since last posting. Many wonderful things have occurred in the last fourteen months and maybe at a later date you might be lucky and be updated on them.

It has been a week since Easter and we thought we would share a few pictures of our Easter Weekend. On Saturday, we met at Alicia's parents' house. The older grandchildren all went to a place that had many inflatable bouncing activities (I am sure you all know what we mean). Following the bouncing around we went back and let the kids run around and wear themselves out a little more before lunch. After lunch the kids had the first of two Easter egg hunts and the sugar high began. It was great to get together with family and visit with one another; there was not a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

On Sunday, we woke up and sickness decided it needed to continue in our house (Carson, Melina and Alicia all had the stomach bug the previous week).  Alicia got the bug again and decided to stay home from church. I took the kids to church by myself (I was a bit apprehensive about this) and both kids behaved well and I was spiritually fed by the speakers and our ward choir. There is no better way to spend Easter, by learning of the sacrifice of our Savior, allowing me to be forgiven and have the chance to return to him. I taught the Sunday School lesson to our class; this month's topic was the Atonement, and I was excited to continue this topic on Easter.

We had my parents out for Easter Sunday dinner and enjoyed the time visiting with them on a more intimate basis. A perfect end to a wonderful and spiritual day. We did not take many pictures; however, enjoy the pictures we have below.
