Bye, Bye Binky!

Woohoo! The binky is gone! Melina was still attached to her binky. We only let her have it when she went to sleep, but still...it was time to get rid of it/them (she had 3, but only used 1). Since she turned 2 and a half in February, we decided that we would give her until the end of the month and then the binky was going to go bye, bye. We put them all in an envelope and let her take it to the mailbox. We told her that we were going to send them to a baby that needed them since she was a big girl and didn't need them anymore. She actually handled it a lot better than I thought she would. She only asked for her binky the first couple of times and didn't throw any tantrums. We were expecting it to be a lot harder than that, which is why we put it off for as long as we did. I guess we should've tried sooner. Oh well, I'm just glad it's over with. Now on to potty training....
