Pregnancy Update

I went in for another ultrasound yesterday afternoon. And the results? Drum roll please....THERE'S A BABY! Yay! And there was a strong heartbeat with a rate of 171 bpm.

I have had a lot going through my mind this last week and a half and was pretty much ready to give up. We went in there prepared to hear the worst, but hoping for the best and we are elated that it was the latter.

The baby was measuring to be about 7 weeks and 4 days, which would put my due date around February 27th instead of the 21st. So I'm just not as far along as I thought. I guess it will be up to my doctor whether or not my due date actually changes.

We're not out of the woods yet, but as of now, it looks like we will have our RAINBOW BABY (a baby that comes after a loss--like a rainbow after the storm).

P.S. I have a bunch of pics from the 4th of July that I need to post. I will get to it eventually. I've been a little lazy (darn morning/all day sickness).
