Lazy Bum

Daily conversation for the past week:

Me: "Melina, do want to put on some underwear and use the potty?"

Melina: "Hm, no."

Me: "Are you sure? You're a big girl and big girls use the potty."

Melina: "No."

Me: "You'll get a treat whenever you go pee in the potty. Do you want to wear underwear or a diaper?"

Melina: "biper"

Me: "Oookay. You're just being lazy....you're a lazy bum." (yes, I call my daughter names:))

Melina: "No, Lina!"

Me: "Lazy bum!"

Melina: "LINA!"

So needless to say, the potty training isn't going very well. She can use the potty, she just doesn't want to use it. I don't want to force her because then she'll rebel. Obviously bribery isn't working...oh well, I guess I'll just try again in a couple of weeks.
