Pink Eye, Nail Polish and Bob...

Ugh, yes that's right, as it says in the title of this post...Melina has Pink Eye. My suspicion is that she got it from the store. You better believe that I will be wiping down the shopping carts from now on. The only other options are nursery at church or she was playing with the kids of some friends last Sunday. My thought is that if she got it from someone on Sunday, then it would've shown up sooner. We went to the store on Wednesday and symptoms started showing up Thursday night, which is why the shopping card is getting the blame. Plus, everybody I've talked to about it (parents of other kids) hasn't had any problems. The poor thing couldn't open her eyes this morning because the eye crusties were gluing them shut. I feel so bad that I have to torture Melina 3 times a day to put eye drops in her eyes. Hopefully it will clear up soon and hopefully nobody else gets it (we're trying to be really careful). Here are a couple of pics, you can't really see the pinkness, but you can kind of see how puffy her eyes are.



Next topic: Nail Polish. I decided to paint my toenails today and of course I had to paint Melina's too. And she didn't want to stop with her toenails, she had to have her fingernails painted as well. Aren't they cute?




And finally the topic of Bob. Who's Bob? I wish I knew. I think Melina has an imaginary friend named "Bob". Either that, or she keeps naming her toys "Bob". She keeps talking to "Bob" when she is playing and I'll ask her who Bob is, and she doesn't really answer. Then I'll ask where Bob is (hoping she will point to him) and she says that he is at church (nope, nobody named Bob at church) or wherever or she'll say he's lost. I just have to laugh whenever I hear Melina say "Bob". Sorry, no pics for this one...because I have no idea what Bob looks like.
